Terms of Service

Welcome to Sunflowers. By downloading or using the Sunflowers mobile app (the “app”), you agree to the following terms. They exist so both of us know where we stand. We tried to keep them short.

1. Using the app

You may use the app for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Please don’t attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code, and please don’t use the app to do anything unlawful. If you break these rules, we can stop providing the app to you.

2. Your account

Sunflowers does not require an account. Your progress and settings live on your device. If you sign in with an App Store or Google Play account to purchase Sunflowers Pro, that account is governed by the App Store or Google Play terms.

3. Sunflowers Pro subscription

Sunflowers Pro is an optional subscription that unlocks additional difficulties, unlimited hints, the daily puzzle archive, and removes ads (if any). If you subscribe:

• Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel the subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when a paid subscription begins.
• Refunds, when applicable, are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies.

4. Ownership

Sunflowers, including its puzzle generator, art, sound, and copy, is owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, subject to these terms.

5. Updates

We update the app from time to time to add features, fix bugs, and improve stability. Some updates may be required for the app to continue working.

6. Third-party services

The app uses services from Firebase (analytics and crash reporting), RevenueCat (subscription management), and the App Store or Google Play (distribution and payments). Your use of those services is also subject to their terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. Disclaimer

The app is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do our best to keep the app working reliably, but we can’t promise it will always be available, error-free, or perfectly free of bugs.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability, for any claim, will not exceed the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. If a change is material, we’ll do our best to let you know inside the app or on this page. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
