Sunflowers is a single-player logic puzzle. We built it to be calm and unobtrusive, and that goes for how we handle your data too. This page explains, in plain language, what information the app collects and what we do with it.
What we collect
The app collects the minimum needed to keep the game working and to fix problems when they appear. Specifically:
- Gameplay data stored on your device — settings, progress, current streak, and puzzle history. This lives on your phone. If you delete the app, it's gone.
- Anonymous analytics from Firebase Analytics — which screens you open, which difficulty you play, whether you finish a puzzle. This is aggregated and never tied to your name, email, or address book.
- Crash reports from Firebase Crashlytics — when the app crashes, we receive a technical report of what went wrong so we can fix it. Crash reports do not contain your gameplay data or anything identifiable.
- Purchase information from RevenueCat and the App Store or Google Play, if you decide to unlock Sunflowers Pro. We receive a signed receipt to verify your subscription; we do not receive your card number.
What we do not collect
- We do not require an account, email, or password.
- We do not read your contacts, photos, or files.
- We do not track you across other apps or websites for advertising.
- We do not sell your data. There is nothing to sell.
App Tracking Transparency (iOS)
On iOS the app may ask a system permission dialog called App Tracking Transparency. Sunflowers uses this only to keep your gameplay stats and improve the game — it never tracks you across other apps or websites. You can decline and the game works exactly the same.
Third-party services we use
- Firebase (Google LLC) — analytics and crash reports. See Firebase's privacy documentation.
- RevenueCat — subscription management. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
- Apple App Store / Google Play — payment processing and app distribution. Governed by their respective privacy policies.
Children
Sunflowers is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children. There is no messaging, no user-generated content, and no social features.
Your rights
You can delete all locally stored data by uninstalling the app. To manage or cancel a Sunflowers Pro subscription, use your App Store or Google Play account settings. If you'd like to request deletion of any data we may hold about you, email us and we'll take care of it.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how Sunflowers handles data, we'll update this page and, where appropriate, note the change in the app. The date at the top always reflects the latest revision.
